Vatican City, Nov 30, 2016 / 08:18 am (CNA/EWTN News).- On Wednesday, Pope Francis added world famous director Martin Scorsese to the list of Hollywood stars he has welcomed for a private meeting in the Vatican, following an official Rome preview of Scorsese’s new film “Silence.” Based on a Japanese historical fiction novel recounting Christian persecution in Japan during the 17th century, “Silence” will hit theaters in December and recounts the story of two Jesuit priests who travel to Japan in the midst of the violence to search for the missing mentor, played by Liam Neeson. According to a Nov. 30 communique from the Vatican, Scorsese, his wife and their two children were present for the meeting with Pope Francis, alongside the film’s producer and his wife. Msgr. Barcelona’s Andrés Iniesta displays his nous and embraces the brain game | Sean Ingle

Source: The Guardian
Date: Sun, 04 Dec 2016 18:33:43 GMT

The captain had Barça humming again against Real Madrid and has been tested by scientists who believe they can identify high football IQ in a laboratoryLess than a minute after replacing Ivan Rakitic during a strangely discordant el clásico, Andrés Iniesta had Barcelona humming sweeter harmonies again. His first act was to float to the centre, collect from Gerard Piqué and exchange a wall-pass with Lionel Messi – bam, bam, bam – which started a 31-pass move. His next was to set up Neymar for a chance he smashed over. Later he steered a glorious eye of the needle ball that Messi, with the match at his feet, screwed wide.True, Madrid stole an equaliser at the death but with Iniesta back from injury as Barcelona’s conductor and collagen the team looked whole again. Of course his technical and physical talents remain worldy, even at 32, but it was his football intelligence – that ability to find space and time amid the crush and rush, the right pass, the right everything – th (...)

It appears Andy Cohen does not have any “Bad Blood” with Taylor Swift. The Watch What Happens Live host, 48, told reporters that he isn’t afraid of running into the 26-year-old pop star after their awkward encounter at a Met Gala after party. “No. I’m a huge Taylor Swift fan, and knowing me, I’ll run towards her,” he told reporters at The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 7 premiere party at the Sofitel Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills when asked if he would try to avoid her after he revealed their encounter. In November, Cohen sat down with EW and PEOPLE Director Jess Cagle to talk about his new book, Superficial: More Adventures from the Andy Cohen Diaries. During their conversation, he shared a cringe-worthy story about a moment with Swift. Cohen told Cagle he was sitting by the bar waiting for a drink when he overheard the singer looking for a seat with a friend. Even though Swift wasn’t talking to him, Cohen decided to interject anyway. “I said, ‘You (...)
